Happy Halloween

Its October 31st which can only mean two things!

1. Its the end of the month

and 

2. ITS HALLOWEEN

Yes, Halloween. The one time a year a girl can dress as a total slut and no other girl can say anything about it (Mean Girls Reference). however, this year, I decided to get creative and scary, using my Boyfriend as my model. I was inspired by the Harvey Dent character from the Dark Knight movie to create this look using liquid latex, cotton wool, face paint, powder makeup, lipstick, fake nails (to create the exposed teeth) and of course a little bit of fake blood. 

I was actually planning on videoing this process to show you how i achieved the look, BUT silly me, accidentally deleted half of the footage, so I will try to recreate this look soon and film it.

Mila and the Motherhood ring

New mother Mila Kunis has decided to mark the birth of her first daughter to Ashton Kutcher, Wyatt Isabelle, by creating an emerald motherhood ring with Gemfields. Kunis has been a brand ambassador for the jewellery designer, who responsibly source their coloured gem stones. The Proceeds from the sale of this necklace will go to a charitable organisation that funds a maternity centre in Zambia.

In tern, this Motherhood Rind, will help other mothers.

RIP Oscar De La Renta

Today the fashion world mourns the tragic passing of the New York Based fashion designer, Oscar De La Renta at the age of 82, after a long battle with cancer. Born in the Dominican Republic, De La Renta studied painting in madrid at the age of 18 before being hired by spanish fashion designer Cristóbal Balenciaga. He also traveled to Paris to work for the high fashion house Lanvin and after this, he moved to New York, where he established his own label. 

His collections always highlighted a very feminine aesthetic, showcasing a romantic element from his Latin heritage, and were also influenced by the more demure and elegant cuts that he learned in Paris. 

He quickly became a favorite designer amongst society ladies and celebrities, not only for his designs, but also for his personality.
